Did you know that we have a resident photographer? Staff member, Paula Tyrkalo, is jump starting her photography business by offering an exclusive, one day only, Christmas themed photo event for families or children.

Date: Sunday, November 22, 2009
Time: 30 minute sessions from 10:00am to 6:00pm
Cost: $100 ($25 deposit due at booking)

What you will receive:

• 30 minute photo session with Christmas setting and optional basic black setting (great for family photos)
• a CD with the images from your session (ready for you by December 1st)
• a special photo gift.

November 2009 Newsletter

Now that Halloween is behind us, it’s time to concentrate on the holiday season which is approaching quickly! We have received a large selection of new Christmas products sure to suit everyone’s taste. It’s the perfect time of year to get started on your Christmas projects.

November & December Classes

Our staff has been working diligently to design some amazing specialty classes for the upcoming holiday season. The Christmas Card Extravaganza, the Christmas Workshop and the Christmas Card Workshop have been very popular.


We are offering a great selection of new classes in the upcoming months including fall, winter and Christmas themed layouts. We have some light-hearted paper pieced layouts too. For instance, the Dam Cute and the Silly Monsters classes will surely bring a smile to your face. Many customers have been anxiously awaiting the Dragon’s Tale layout, and it will not disappoint! The dimension and detail make this dragon very realistic. The Santa Paws layout will appeal to the animal lovers. The cowgirl layout is just in time for the rodeo this month.


For those customers who like more classic, beautiful layouts that incorporate three dimension, and the use of plenty of embellishments to create stunning results then Silent Night, Glorious Fall and Autumn Bliss are the perfect choices for you.


Recently, we have released some new two page layout kits. Whether you are scrapbooking at home, attending a crop or a retreat, you are sure to find a kit which is perfect for your photos.


Fall is a season of change! We have new designers and new staff to add to our talented team. We welcome back Irena as an instructor! The store has been revamped from top to bottom for your shopping convenience! We are constantly adding new arrivals. Now we have a designated section for all of the Christmas products. Let us dazzle you with a great selection of bling to add sparkle and pizzazz to your projects. My Mind’s Eye Love Me Do products are in the store now. The staff’s absolute favourite new arrival is the Mimi shoulder bag and tote on wheels in the Zebra print with hot pink lining. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the matching zebra camera bag, as well as the giraffe print too.

The girls at Scrap-a-Lot are drooling over the newest line of Mimi totes. From rolling crop bags to shoulder bags, these bags definitely make a statement. We have just received the black and zebra print wheeled totes and shoulder bags. Watch for more additions coming soon such as giraffe and zebra print camera bags!

Little Yellow Bicycle

Little Yellow Bicycle has put out a great line of products just in time to make some fun chipboard books for Christmas gifts. These products come in a variety of themes such as gratitude, pregnancy, girlfriends, faith, family and dog.

These paper tablets (available in the themes listed above) are sized to fit on the coordinating chipboard album. Just choose your paper, adhere it to the book and you are well on your way to a great little album!

Glitter stickers, available in a variety of themes, will add that extra glitz and glam to your album.

Little Yellow Bicycle makes great journaling tablets for a variety of themes that are sure to get your creative juices flowing.

My Mind's Eye has released a wonderful valentine line called Love Me Do. Valentine's Day may seem far away but this line will be gone in a flash!
